WHITE PLAINS, NY — October 16, 2014- — The Westchester Region of Hadassah today announced that on Thursday, November 13, 2014, it will honor Dr. Dan Costin, Co-Director of the White Plains Hospital Cancer Program, for his significant work in cancer research and treatment here at home in Westchester and in collaboration with Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. The Westchester Region will recognize Dr. Costin’s tireless efforts on behalf of patients as well as his commitment to the fight against cancer.
The Westchester Region will honor Dr. Costin as part of its second annual Making Miracles Happen dinner, to be held at Temple Israel Center in White Plains, NY. The Westchester Region will mark this occasion and Dr. Costin’s remarkable work with a Celebration Journal that will contain congratulatory messages. In addition, an auction and raffle are being held. All proceeds will benefit the extraordinary work of Hadassah in the area of breast cancer treatment and research.
