NEW WINDSOR and WHITE PLAINS, NY – The two-hour seminar will be presented by Association Vice President, Thomas Tripodianos, Esq. The interactive program is designed to explain in layman’s terms basic legal concepts that are important to those in the home building/remodeling industries, and best practices to avoid liability.
Topics to be covered include but are not limited to:
- The Liability Climate
- Contract Concepts
- Warranties – Express and Implied
- Mechanics Lien Law
- Alternative Dispute Resolution – Mediation, Arbitration, Small Claims Court
The $25 per person cost, which is waived for all past, present and prospective Association members, includes lite bites and beverage.
Sessions are offered either on Monday, September 15 from 4:00PM – 6:00PM at the Association offices in New Windsor, NY or on Wednesday, September 17 from 8:00AM – 10:00PM at the offices of Welby, Brady and Greenblatt in White Plains, NY. All are invited to attend but space is limited so reservations are a must.
