YONKERS, NY – October 7, 2014 — Yonkers Tribune has learned from reliable sources that Yonkers Police Detective Christian Koch has been served with an indictment on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Aspersions that Koch had previously engaged in falsifying a search warrant affidavit is the basis of the indictment.
The Westchester County District Attorney‘s Office has already been forced to dismiss some previously pending cases specifically with respect to Detective Koch and Officer Neil Vera, who was a witness alleging to the veracity of Koch’s assertions. Officer Vera has also been served with an indictment today.
Yonkers Tribune has learned that the “false” assertions by Koch and Vera had allegedly failed to be proven in cases since tossed by the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office. To wit, Vera faces a seven-count arraignment, and Koch a four-count arraignment Wednesday morning, October 8, 2014.
More Wednesday afternoon upon gaining access to the indictments upon their being divulged by the Office of the District Attorney’s Office.

If there was video evidence obtained illegally and tampered with that would prove the statements in the deposition were false, then what would that be?

I don’t know if this was a sealed indictment; whatever the case, it WAS an indictment which was inevitable.
If you are a cop, and have ever testified in a Grand Jury, you would know it is a secret preceding. Noe of what goes on in the Grand Jury can be spoken about. The fact that someone told hezi compromises the process. Not withstanding what you said of what people knew, they should not release the findings.

You are out of line pointing the finger at Keith Olson. Olson is merely a Police Officer who happens to be the head of a union, he holds no power or authority over anyone. The power in any Police Department comes from the very Top Brass (ie Commissioner, Chiefs) who only answer to the Mayor. These two policemen who were indicted will be arraigned for acts they have allegedly committed, not Keith Olson. Whether or not they committed these acts will be proven or disproved in court. The real argument can be made about a corrupt department that turns the other way allowing this type of disgusting behavior to ferment openly and freely. You can point fingers all you want at a union head, he has no disciplinary role. The indisputable truth is that corruption starts at the very top and those who are really in charge and have allowed the fermentation to occur within the dept; they are just as guilty as those who condone it, in fact more so.
