YONKERS, NY—The Yonkers Democratic City Committee is pleased to honor NYS Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins and the Westchester-Putnam Central Labor Body for the 2013 Road to Victory Dinner on Friday, November 1 at the Westchester Manor. Other honorees are Carol Daly, Co-Ward Leader, 11
th Ward and Victoria K. Harris, Democratic District Leader, 4
th Ward.
Stewart-Cousins is the Democratic Conference Leader of the State Senate
serving as the highest ranking female in New York State
government, and the first woman ever in New York State history to lead a conference. The Westchester-Putnam Central Labor Body is a labor membership organization devoted to supporting, advancing and advocating for working people throughout Westchester and Putnam counties. The Central Labor Body brings together more than 300 local unions from every trade, occupation, public and private sector of the New York
economy.
“I’m proud that Senator Stewart-Cousins, along with our distinguished Party leaders and the leadership of the Central Labor Body will be joining us for this special event. As we head into the final days before Election Day, Yonkers Democrats are working together to support our candidates up and down the ticket with the resources necessary to elect strong, progressive leaders who will move our county and city forward,” said Yonkers Democratic Committee Chairwoman Symra Brandon.
